CERULEAN is a fictional online fashion store that reflects a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance. The website is simple, clean and modern-looking. The inspiration for the brand name came from the nomination of the colour Cerulean as "colour of the millenium" by Pantone in 1990. As you navigate through the site, you are able to see hints of the colour cerulean. The target audiences are design-conscious consumers who are in their early 20s to 40s with middle to high income levels. The design of this website emphasises on usability and functionality and aims at providing a convenient shopping experience where consumers are able to click and buy the products immediately while browsing. This project enabled me to demonstrate advanced authoring skills necessary for producing appropriate web solutions and to apply movement of visual elements on screen to make it non-static.
